Stand With Me UK in schools

Stand With Me is trying to educate tomorrow by going into schools and universities to provide workshops and presentations to increase the awareness and improve general education surrounding mental health. We want to equip students with the knowledge to help and tackle mental health issues head on whether it be for them-self, or another. Our aims are to give students the knowledge about mental health issues, to then develop their confidence in speaking about it openly. We believe the only way to change the stigma that stops people speaking about their mental health is to bring it into common, everyday conversation. In doing this, we can make lives better, and prevent the risk of suicide and stigma.
